Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Worsham Sr., 76, the former Jewel Graham Worsham, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen at 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday. A native of Flora, Texas, and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Worsham died at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at New Iberia Manor North. She is survived by her children, Albert "Sonny" Worsham Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Larose, Robert Worsham and his wife, Barbara, and Dennis Worsham and his wife, Maxine, all of New Iberia, Shirley Morse and her husband, Gale of Mulberry, Ark. and Brenda Crum of New Iberia; four brothers, John and Paul Graham, both of Carrolton, Texas, Larry Graham of Prescott, Ark. and Roger Graham of Fortsmith, Ark.; her sister, Lorine Charles of Kilgore, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Wit. to consent, William Ford and Charles Worsham, Sur. Charles Worsham. When John Worsham m Nancy Whitworth, Charles Worsham was also Security. Therefore, this John, very likely could be James’ older brother, John Worsham b. abt 1763, on page 665.

"I George Taylor do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. Secondly I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Taylor all my property after paying my debts as above stated. Nancy Catherine Young , born Nov 14, 1856 Pulaski, Giles, TN & died Jun 29, 1913 Holliday, Archer Co, TX. She m Edward Burwell Briggs Nov 7, 1871 Pulaski, Giles, TN. According to the Briggs Family Bible, Josephine m Edward Briggs 12 Nov 1871 at the home of the bride’s father G. S. Worsham. Solemnized by Rev. C. A. Harwell on Sunday. Perhaps the 7 Nov date was the date the license was issued. In the Bible record Edward b 12 Nov 1849 & died 21 Oct 1911 & she d 24 Jun 1913. According to her death certificate she was b 12 Nov 1857 d. 29 Jun 1913 Brunner, Harris Co., TX of pellegra. Burial: Glenwood. It names her father as G. W. Worsham, not G. S. Worsham. (John Norwood, 2003) According to most of the records found, his name is either G. S. Worsham or George S. Worsham; therefore, it is believed the S. for his middle name is correct. She and George are in the 1920 Giles Co., TN Census. Her son, William Edward is living with them & twin daughters Jan & Jene Cole age 2 years & 11 months plus her sister Annie age 26 Children:
