“Her name is Sarah Catherine, but my granddaddy said that she was called "Sally," as if often the case with women named Sarah.  I know about when Sally born, according to the census, but I don't know when she died.  She is buried at Providence Cemetery, in the northern part of Attala Co, MS, but she has no tombstone. My granddaddy, before his death in 1988, showed me the rough stone that marked her grave; however, whenever I visited the cemetery a few weeks ago, the stone wasn't there.  I do know, however, that she was buried next to Daniel Henry, who has a Confederate marker.  As far as I know, Sarah and D.
